Organisation Description The Refresh skills center is a new and exciting organization based in the heart of Berkshire, where ‘Giving back to the community’ is our motto. We are proud to offer a wide range of free skills based learning courses, in bricklaying, carpentry, plumbing, plastering, electrical and media.
Taught at our dedicated center by industry professionals our courses provide the ideal combination of formal classroom learning and practical production work.
This unique opportunity will allow you to learn from the industry’s best, whether you already have a basic knowledge of a subject or wish to learn a whole new skill, Refresh aims to help you.
Participants will benefit from increased self-esteem and confidence in their chosen field. Our dedicated team will support the trainees, not only through the courses, but beyond this by offering and signposting to relevant workplace opportunities. We understand how to evaluate the skills you already have and which skills you might need to achieve your goals. All our practitioners are currently working and flourishing in their respective field.
Refresh will be based at a brand new purpose-built sight in Slough where participants will have access to cutting-edge technology and learning too.
